Searching for Posada: Art and Revolutions (Documentary Screening)

Date And Time: Wed, March 18, 2020 • 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM PDT

Location: Arion Press / Grabhorn Institute -1802 Hays Street. The Presidio San Francisco, CA 94129

Description: The Grabhorn Institute invites you to attend a screening of the documentary film Searching for Posada: Art and Revolutions, produced by Jim Nikas and Maryanne Brady. The film tells the story of famed Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada and his main publisher, Antonio Vanegas Arroyo. Following the film, we will host a question and answer session with Jim Nikas, Director of the Posada Art Foundation.

 

Vehicle Parking: There is a small paid parking lot in front of Arion Press (building with the smokestack), and two additional parking lots are along Wedemeyer St. Please refrain from parking along the narrow drives or in the residents' lot in front of the Presidio Landmark building
